Content Developer

Research, design, develop and write technical information online for a variety of audiences and purposes. Produce documentation that complies with documentation plan requirements. Obtain technical information from project developers, program managers, product managers, testers and product support personnel; converts specific feedback into documentation. Responds to editorial and reviewer feedback. Produce a portion of a documentation set (i.e. SDK/API, reference guides, user guides, etc) that complies with documentation plan requirements.


Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technical Communications, Marketing Communication, Information Technology or equivalent work experience.

Experience with SQL Server, Windows Azure services or competitive offerings is highly desirable

Experience with T-SQL, NoSQL, Big Data paradigms C#, C++, PowerShell, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, JSON, Ajax, WPF, XML, and/or GIT preferred

3+ years of experience in technical writing and/or communication.

Experience with Content Management tools, and the ability to learn tools quickly

2-3+ years industry experience in enterprise automation (scripting or coding solutions at scale), administration (production-level enterprise implementations), and/or maintenance or solution troubleshooting (with the ability to divine and communicate best practices) preferred

Creative and answer focused, and can use a variety of means to meet a variety of customer needs, including code samples, graphics, video, tutorials, blog posts, curations, and articles.

Proven ability to effectively partner with stakeholders and deliver content and an information experience that increases customer satisfaction and increases product usage and adoption
