If this has pulled in your interest, keep reading! On of our well-established, Fortune 500 clients local to the San Jose, CA area is currently seeking a Senior Content Strategist/UX Writer. You will be responsible for the research and discovery of customer insights and you will be responsible for iterating on the content, as well as the overall design to produce innovative products and features. A few of your key responsibilities will be surrounding email remediation and making improvements to voice and tone to many of our clients' system emails. Responsibilities: 

  • Balance the needs of product management, UX, legal, and services to create content
  • Manage our editorial calendar to ensure timely publication
  • Provide a user-focused perspective to content creation
  • Assign blog posts to writers
  • Carry out research and present findings, as well as specific projects and research
  • Identify gaps in our content and recommend new topics
  • Create style guides to use as reference
  • Proofread and edit written pieces before publication
  • Schedule social media posts
  • Conduct keyword and SEO research to understand customers’ needs
  • Monitor web traffic and engagement (e.g. conversions and bounce rates)
  • Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles
  • Follow industry-related news and generate ideas around trending topics​
  • ​​Collaborate with Account Strategists to guide the strategic direction of client content marketing efforts
  • Conduct competitive and pricing research and recommended pricing standards globally
  • Review and update published content as needed
  • Digest content provided by the client, client services, and other agencies or from own research, and extract relevant insights to brief and inspire the team
  • Create and maintain functional editorial calendars for corporate content
  • Create email marketing campaigns
  • Develop and implement a cross-channel content marketing strategy that translates business and marketing goals into meaningful content deliverables
  • Direct and participate in editorial strategy creation and implementation
  • Focus on customer needs and continuously improve content to increase customer comprehension
  • Lead meetings with senior leadership and our clients
  • Measure the impact of work using analytics
  • Provide feedback to internal and external contributors to guarantee that content aligns to strategy and quality standards
  • Research B2B content marketing and tech news/trends, as well as apply learned knowledge across all client engagements
