Responsible for liaising between content creators across VES (e.g. Security teams - product management and marketing, evangelists, Thought Leadership team, AR team, Demand Gen and Marketing Intel) to obtain and agree each groups proposed full year content calendar and work with a cross functional team to align and combine each group's calendar into one VES content calendar.
Work along-side and with a third party agency to agree and prepare the entire VES content calendar ensuring sequence, structure, and content themes make sense and align to VES's brand, messaging and content themes for 2016.
Take a leading role in evaluating the content submitted by each VES content creator group, edit the content so it is fit for sharing on a variety of social media platforms - both branded channels and employee personal social media platforms. As a reveiwer and curator, make a significant and direct impact on the quality, scannablility, a media-rich nature of the content being curator for Social Media.
The purpose of the role is to manage the relationship with an array of VES content creators, ensure that VES has a full year calendar of content being planned for Social Media and that the content proposed is fit for sharing on Social Media. Support VES reactive and response management to public engagement with our content.
All tasked must be performed to time and quality SLAs with our content creators.



This is a new role to VES. The Social Media strategy has been revised and revamped for 2016 - the Social Media Liaison and Content Curator is a critical position that will help VES stand-up, drive and evolve our Social Media strategy for an enterprise organisation.
This role interacts with a wide group of people - content creators, legal, MarComms, the manager for Social Media Strategy in VES, and an external agency who will be responsible for sourcing and curating the external content.
Training and documentation for the Social media Advocacy program, targetted at employees, is being developed at present and will become available throughout January-March.
The Social Selling program being piloted in Janaury with a small group of reps, with the intention to scale across the entire VES sales organisation, will leverage the training and program structure designed by the Business Unit.
- BA/BSc degree or equivalent
• highly competent in written and spoken English
• Proven ability to deliver highest quality results while paying strict attention to detail
• Analytical, a quick learner, and have a penchant for providing a better experience for Internet users
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with high volume and complex demands
• High levels of diplomacy gained through working with diverse stakeholder groups
Strong team player that can remain positive during challenging assignments and balance priorities when necessary
• Have a strong desire to learn continually and grow professionally
• Personal experience using internet websites and internet social communicaiton tools
• Knowledge of technical or solutions oriented content, especially related to IoT, Security, Cloud, Communications and Mobility
• Strong work ethic and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Advanced MS Excel and Word skills coupled with exceptional attention to detail and a proven ability to quickly learn new tools
