Content Coordinator

In this role, the ideal candidate wil use an advanced strategic knowledge of the RFP process, collateral development and project
management to deliver on-brand, accurate and compelling final documents that drive business growth and support for our client.

Job Competencies
 Strong organizational and time-management skills that prioritize heavy workloads to meet
time-sensitive deadlines.
 Strong working knowledge using word processing hardware and application software such as
Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat.
 Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of products.
 Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding and structured environment.
 Ability to understand when to proceed alone and when to involve other Creative Services
Associates, including the Creative Services Manager.
 Ability to provide technical coaching and mentoring to other Content Coordinators.
 Demonstrates efficiency in streamlining processes and workflow.
 Consistent effort to reach out to Producers and Associates to promote the Texas Creative
Services Team.
 Exemplary aptitude and proven ability for use of English language with regard to sentence
structure, punctuation, paragraph formation, grammar and proofreading skills.
 Demonstrates ability to understand and execute oral and written instruction.
 Strong verbal, listening, and interpersonal skills to interact with Associates at all levels of
responsibility.
 Professional and tactful negotiation and persuasion skills to achieve objectives.
 Ability to communicate professionally with internal clients and develop strong client
relationships.
 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including research and investigation.
 Typing speed of 65 wpm with minimal errors.
 Willingness and ability to expand knowledge and effectiveness in the Creative Services area
by successful completion of extended classes and workshops related to Creative Services.

The Ideal Candidate:
· 2-5 years of experience in either Proposal Coordination or Marketing Communications
· A willingness to do what it takes to get the job done – overtime a strong possibility
· Insurance industry experience is preferred
· Graphic design/Adobe Creative Suite is nice, but not necessary (They would work closely with graphic designer, but might need to make small changes. Again, it is something that can be taught)
· Lots of experience coordinating and wrangling people from all levels of the organization and all types of personalities
· Great attention to detail, writing, editing, and rewriting highly technical jargon
· Ability to distill complex ideas into bite sized pieces of information to tell a story
· Takes calculated risks – someone that knows enough to get the lay of the land, but will take risks and make a judgment call when required
