Aquent's client, a large tech company headquartered in Mountain View, CA, is seeking a Content & Social Marketing Manager for a 10–month assignment at their Palo Alto location.

We are looking for an experienced content & social marketing manager to join a fast paced brand marketing team. We’re looking for a seasoned storyteller and versatile content creator. Fitting copy into 140 characters should come second hand. A knack for photography, design and micro-video content creation is encouraged. From directing a social creative agency, to writing and posting tweets yourself, you should be well-versed and equipped to manage global social channels on a daily basis. This individual will help define the vision for brands content, working across social, video, influencer, UGC and paid to deliver best in class creative across all channels.

This individual will be directly supporting the Content Marketing Lead, working on social, influencer and engagement projects. They will help manage two social media agencies (paid + creative) in order to fulfill the content calendar, and execute on the larger social strategy.

Responsibilities
- Content creation: Create and produce content to populate social channels; whether it’s working with an agency to help produce, or creating assets and writing the copy for a witty tweet yourself.
- Agency management: Help oversee and manage two social media agencies to fulfill and execute on larger social strategy for the brand.
- Budget and billing management: Experience managing both production & media budgets; comfortable working with external vendors + internal legal & finance teams to ensure POs & SOWs get properly executed
- Creative briefing & content development: Draft and deliver creative briefs to both internal creatives and external partners. You have an eye for good design, and understanding of specific social channel content requirements & best practices.
- Social Channel Management: Oversee fulfillment of content across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube on a weekly basis
- Video Content Management: Help with the management of video content; both organizing and managing our internal video content database, as well as publishing and tracking video content
- Influencer Management: Act as a liaison with influencer relationships for the brand; helping groom current relationships and foster new ones
- Reporting & Analytics: Help with weekly and initiative based reporting to celebrate the social & content wins on the team. Understanding of key social KPIs, and ideally an understanding of social analytics tools (Sprinklr, SalesForce Social Studio, Google Analytics, etc). Comfortability presenting data and reporting out to larger team is important.
- Community Management: Help guide larger team of dedicated social support community managers who are responding to social inquiries on a daily basis.

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
1. Social Media fulfillment
Execute social media content calendar and ensure content is going out across channels on a regular basis. Help shape larger social media strategy for the brand.
2. Content creation
Ability to create snack-able social media content & copy for posting; from writing 140 character copy, to shortening video clips, to resizing image assets to social specs for posting across our social channels.
3. Agency management
Help with the the management of two social media agencies; creative social agency and paid social agency.

Requirements:
*BA in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Business or related field
*2+ years of content and social marketing experience for a start-up, agency, or brand
*Agency and budget management experience required
*Experience writing inspiring, clear and concise creative briefs
*Understanding of the social media landscape, the platforms, strengths and weaknesses
*Scrappy and hungry; willing to do tasks both large and small
*Comfortable in a fast-paced, fast movement environment
*Passion for storytelling through multiple media types, both visual and written
*Content creation experience ;with a working knowledge of Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, Premiere etc. to both create new assets and size existing one to social specs
*Copywriting experience; comfortability writing social posts for publishing across social channels
*Strong leadership and collaboration skills and ability to form effective partnerships across cross-functional teams - brand, creative, PR, legal, support, store and analytics.
*Entrepreneurial, outgoing self-starter with ability to work independently.
*Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive programs to successful closure.

Nice to Have:
*Knowledge and experience with search engine content optimization and best practices
*Understanding of social tools; Sprinklr, SocialStudio, Opal, Google Analytics, etc.
