Consumer Strategy Director

The consumer strategist will be a key leader supporting select high value initiatives that support our client’s focus on pivoting their health care organization to a more consumer centric organization.

This role will include building and deploying consumer strategies to key cross functional groups from product/service development, national accounts sales, to both impact change in near and longer term.

The opportunity for this role is to be part of a dynamic team that is helping to effect change within the organization. The consumer strategy team is a multi-functional, nimble team established to identify, build and deploy key insights and strategies and therefore includes critical functions of consumer strategy (this role/and the leader of the group), consumer research, big data analysis, operational activation.

Job Responsibilities:

Consumer Segmentation - Support key high value enterprise projects to deploy segmentation. Lead efforts as needed such as continuing to deploy and enhance existing, nascent consumer segmentation. Partner with key functional areas to inculcate and deploy consumer insights while also elevating study to next level. Must be able to help articulate and effect “mind shift” from b2b to b2c. Key partners of focus include development of services/product (long term impact) to large customer sales teams (to position offering/as consumer centric and drive near term revenue).

Consumer Strategy - Provide support to identify consumer strategies to support key critical business efforts where consumer approach is a differentiation opportunity. Provide insight and strategic recommendations based on consumer needs. Partner with research manager to support fielding key studies and support shaping strategic recommendations with business leaders.
