Consumer Insights Manager

We're looking for a Consumer Market Research Guru with experience in CPG or Financial Services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Act as the voice of the consumer throughout the organization.
• Support the organization in answering strategic business questions by designing and executing quantitative research (study design, questionnaire development / programming, statistical analysis, presentation). Likely focus areas will be product/brand positioning, packaging/display development, advertising effectiveness and more.
• Support the Sales & Business Development teams in developing shopper insights (primarily through quantitative studies) that help establish new retail partnerships and improve in-store placement and promotions.
• Infuse best practices into all market research throughout the company to improve its accuracy and actionability.
• On some occasions this manager will be expected to lead qualitative research and even the creative development for some initiatives, so the ability to wear many hats is important.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• 5-7 years work experience with world class brands, ideally in the CPG or financial services industries.
• Strong consumer insights background with a heavy emphasis on quantitative study design and analysis (at least 5 years).
• Extremely detailed oriented, but with a mindset to get things done under often tight deadlines.
• High level of energy and a collaborative approach with the Marketing team and colleagues across many departments.
• Undergraduate degree from top a tier school, MBA preferred but not required.
