Consumer Analyst

A newly created position to work within the marketing insights team of an expanding digital enterprise to help better understand the customer journey, how media and advertising influences this journey and telling a story that can be turned into action.

You will play an integral part in answering the following questions:

 Who are their customers? What do they do, how, when, where and why?
 How can their clients better engage these customers using media, software and data services using these insights?

• The Role

• Reporting on consumer behaviour (trending, cross-shopping, lifecycle, click-stream behaviour) from various internal sources and platforms
• Collation and interpretation of external media and marketing data
• Data exploration and insight generation for automotive clients and internal product and sales teams
• Visualizing data and insights for internal stakeholders or clients
• Collaborate with Insights & Analytics development teams to maintain and acquire new data
• Translating insights into actionable segments for data management and marketing automation platforms
• Maintaining Insights Wiki of research resources and tools for internal team

Key Capabilities

• Creative problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Understanding and passion for data and insight driven decision making
• Strong attention to detail
• Data visualisation, chart building, communicating insights to generalist audience
• Good communication both verbal and written
• Time management and task driven
• Experience in cross-matrix environment with multiple stakeholders
• Background in research or media/advertising industry will be favored
