Consume Search Media Analyst

As a Search & Auction Media Manager – Level 1, you will be responsible for developing strategy, guiding execution and analyzing paid digital media placements for some of the most recognizable brands in the world. The objective of this position is to drive qualified incremental traffic and conversion across websites of the client via paid outlets such as Google, YouTube, Yahoo, Bing, Facebook, and Twitter. You will also be key in communicating the strategy and results to multiple stakeholders. This role reports to the Manager, Search & Auction Media Strategy, and this role is supported by one or more Search & Auction Media Analysts


Job Responsibilities

  • Be the primary point of contact for all search- and auction media-related questions and requests that relate to the managed web properties

  • Stay up to date on the current objectives of the marketing teams and managed websites in order to ensure the search and auction media efforts are in step with those initiatives

  • Take requests for new campaigns and yearly proposals. Develop the strategy, review campaign creation, and present back to campaign requestor

  • Ensure approved campaigns are executed properly and tracking properly for analytics

  • Deliver weekly performance reports to leadership and business partners that include accurate performance metrics and well-written highlights

  • Schedule and lead regular performance meetings with business partners to cover updates, gather business input and present ideas

  • Ensure meeting minutes are created and distributed following meetings with business partners, to be delivered the same day, that highlight the discussion topics, resolved solutions and open action items with responsible parties.

  • Maintain a record of current budgets, internal charge numbers and confirm daily spending to ensure accounts stay at target spend levels and for team reporting purposes

  • Alert the website product manager, web analytics and leadership when issues exist that affect performance or tracking for a given website Review and approve analytics reports, bid rules and search marketing campaigns with the various channels.
