We are a research group focusing on Hardware. We have a hand built camera that we are collecting data from. We have both optics people and software people that are doing research. The focus is on Computational Photography for machine learning purposes.

The contractor responsibility will be to take as many pictures as possible. They have to be aware that this is research equipment and is all custom/and will have bugs. They will need to be able to navigate, and make sure the preview software looks ok. He or she would need to report bugs to us.

The device itself has normal camera modules, but is larger than a regular camera and will have support (cart etc) to move it around. The main goal of this device is to get data from the device for machine learning purposes. It is not necessarily focused on the pictures themselves.

The ideal candidate: Someone who would be happy taking a high volume of pictures every day. They should be somewhat tech savvy. They should be comfortable taking still life, outdoor pictures, some product pictures. The focus will be on the data, and not just the pictures taken.

Top Skills:
Photography experience (at least 1 year experience, should understand proper lighting, settings, be able to shoot static scenes, outdoor pictures, and some product pictures). **Will need to be comfortable taking a large volume of pictures.**
Large firm experience
Tech Savvy, able to troubleshoot and understand basic hardware setup (there will be instruction).
