Competitive Intelligence Manager

Provide an objective commercial viewpoint based on an in-depth understanding and analysis of commercial, clinical, and scientific competitive information. Evaluate the market landscape and monitor changes in market dynamics. Synthesize data and identify implications of competitive influences on our brands. Provide recommendations on product differentiation strategies. Act as a go-to person for competitive intelligence questions from marketing, product development, business development, medical affairs, research, therapeutic area teams, finance, manufacturing, and other departments. Successfully employ secondary and primary market research techniques to accomplish the above. Manage vendor relationships, act as liaison between team and research vendors to conduct competitive efforts. Proactively identify areas for further competitive or market investigation and create appropriate research studies to address them. Communicate key competitive information to teams and individuals throughout the organization.

Prior competitive intelligence experience
Experience in lung cancer preferred but not required
Advanced science degree
Experience in clinical research or a good understanding of clinical science
Familiarity with clinical trial design, R&D, regulatory pathways
Strong analytic skills
Strong communication skills
Independent worker

Education
Advanced degree in business or science required, undergraduate or graduate work in the life sciences preferred.
