Community/Social Media Specialist

Pay: Up to $30/hr. DOE

In order to provide the users at the analytics division of this top tech company with an improved one-service experience, we recently integrated a forum into the user Community. We are looking to hire an Analytics Community Manager, who will become an advocate for the product by representing a friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, human presence and by supporting our users via the online community.

The Community and Social team, which is part of the Customer Operations, Research & Engagement group, is a global team (based in Mountain View, Wroclaw, Dublin, Sao Paulo, Tokyo and Hong Kong) focusing on making the customer support scalable, unlocking the opportunity to deliver increased engagement and feature uptake for a vast number of customers online.

The role:
- Will assist the Community Manager with all aspects of the Community except posting directly on the Community (unless communicated otherwise)
- Help the Community Manager attain high SLAs
- Manage escalations to appropriate stakeholder teams and follow up with team members
- Research unanswered questions and share answers with the Community Manager
- Research answers for threads that need a response and share answers with the Community Manager
- Mark Accepted Solutions on existing and new threads / conversations
- Tag all Community content across all product Communities (AdWords, Analytics, Google My Business)
- Help organize and promote Community content by
moving threads to the right boards, propose threads worth sharing with other teams (wider audience via Social as an example), help the Community Manager with content reporting / analysis
- Help the Community Manager in growing and managing our online community of users by identifying, cultivating and managing relationships with product and community influencers through the Advertiser Community and related events.
- Help lead new innovations in the Community, including process improvements, best practice sharing and measuring and driving Community health.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-2 years professional experience utilizing solid working knowledge of Google Analytics
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate complex ideas into user-friendly, conversational communications and instructions
- Strong problem-solving skills, strategic and analytical capabilities with an ability to draw conclusions from data and recommend actions
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
- Ability to write English fluently and idiomatically

Nice to Haves:
1. Knowledge of Google AdWords and Google My Business products.
