Community Specialist

We are looking for a proactive and motivated individual who will be excited to interact with thousands of this top tech company's customers via an Online Community. They will be responsible for managing a vibrant and constantly growing Community and for identifying, cultivating and managing relationships with product and community influencers. In addition, they will advocate for the company in a powerful way by presenting a friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, human and consistent presence - while at the same time supporting users.

Responsibilities:
-Offering daily support through replying to advertisers’ questions and building healthy relationships with users to resolve issues and educate them on best practices.
-Manage community hygiene by reducing spam, duplicate discussions, and directing power user workflows.
-Proactively post to offer tips, suggestions, useful content, articles
-Stay up to date on current product features and community features
-Help foster greater sense of community by maintaining friendly, active presence
-Monitor level 2-5 posters to help increase contribution
-Develop relationships with Top Contributors / key influencers; grow number of contributors
-Own, understand and report on community health and success (Traffic, SLA, Feature Uptakes); Analyze quantitative and qualitative feedback to identify trends and insights into user needs.

Required Qualifications
-BA/BS degree in media, marketing, communication or 3 years equivalent experience in web media environment
-1-3 years experience with AdWords in any capacity (have they seen an adwords account; have they used it in the past
-Expertise with formulas/advanced knowledge in Excel or Google Sheets
-Excellent written and oral communication skills
-Technical expertise and knowledge of the online space
-Proven good judgment in navigating and resolving sensitive situations.
-Excellent time management skills. Must be able to post in community on a daily basis (week days only)
-Comfortable acting as a face of company, representing product online and offline (eg.events)
-Excellent AdWords product knowledge and email quality
-Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate complex ideas into user-friendly, conversational communications and instructions
-Ability to build strong relationships with our customers and cross functional partners
-Passion for social media and online communities
-Strong problem-solving skills, strategic and analytical capabilities
-Strong judgment in navigating and resolving sensitive situations
