Community Partnerships Marketing Manager

Over 1 billion people use social media Groups every month to build communities and meaningful connections with others around the interests, causes and organizations they care about. The people who administer these Groups are the lifeblood and leaders of their communities. We recently began supporting Community Leaders who use this platform, for example, by providing product tutorials, tips and leadership training. The Community Partnerships team is supporting a number of these Community Leaders, many of whom are running their own 501(c)3 organizations or businesses, with direct, one-on-one support to help them build their organizations and achieve their goals .

In support of the this effort, we're looking for a marketer to plan and create the marketing content that the Partnerships needs to support their Community Leader partners and to bring new partners onto our platform. You'll be responsible for engaging, supporting and inspiring these community leaders to fully leverage social media to support their goals through the creation of educational and inspiring content. You'll work cross-functionally and in close partnership with the Partnerships, Product Marketing and Product Teams to develop a content strategy and execute on marketing materials such as case studies, videos, decks and events. You'll also collaborate with internal & external creative agency partners to produce these marketing materials.

You're perfect for this role if you are:

  • versatile
  • you're able to plan and write content for sales & partnerships teams, including tutorials, product overviews and demos, leadership training materials, pitch decks, scripts for video content, emails and launch education materials
  • able to apply consistent standards and elevate the overall quality of our work
  • love both high-level strategy and hands-on writing and producing
  • understand design thinking and user experience
  • can leverage quantitative and qualitative insights to influence your narratives and content
  • interested in becoming an expert in the needs and motivations of Community Leaders to help build a better relationship with this important audience
  • thrive in a flat, fast-moving organization that uses light-weight process to have a huge impact


  • 5-7 years of Marketing experience
  • Some B2B and start-up experience a plus
  • Cross-functional management
  • Experience developing a wide-range of content marketing for business or non-profit audiences
  • Project management skills, with experience developing and executing marketing strategy
  • Experience thriving within a dynamic, rapidly changing environment
  • Passion for communities and interest in online communities


  • BA/BS degree
