Community Moderator

Large media and Entertainment company is seeking a Community Moderator to join their team.

Responsibilities:
Community Engagement
· Post content – including editorial posts, polls, contests – to engage the community, build loyal fans, spread positive sentiment and drive players to login every day
· Monitor, report, and drive key community engagement performance metrics (e.g., reach, engagement, player sentiment)

Community Moderation
· Manage the community with an eye toward encouraging good behavior and improving the overall tone of the community sites and forums
· Extend community engagement beyond WBIE websites to engage with external communities on press and fan sites
· Post within the community, engaging and encouraging community member interaction

Player Feedback
· Develop and maintain strong feedback loop with the community and WBIE Production
· Work with Production to devise and implement strategies to increase and improve participation on discussion forums

Communications
· Keep Production up to date on key issues and metrics related to the community and engagement
· Build relationships with community volunteers and advocates

REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or a related field
· 2+ years in a community management position or equivalent work
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Deep understanding and working knowledge of all social media platforms
· Passionate and knowledgeable about video games
· Comfortable presenting to the public and staffing events
