Bring your social media MAGIC and YOU TUBE talents to the table by joining the leading, global coffee retailer HQ'd in Seattle! We have an immediate contract for ONE YEAR with a strong chance to convert to Partner (or extend the contract thereafter). Our client is looking for a YouTube Community Manager who is excited to help shape and execute YouTube channel strategy. This role will manage and optimize the client's branded YouTube channel from end-to-end.

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned social and video content professional with a track record of managing and optimizing a YouTube channel. A strong understanding of the YouTube ecosystem, a passion for video and an insatiable curiosity about the consumer and their video consumption will be key to success in this position.

This candidate will possess strong creative sensibilities, a strategic vision for content organization and channel development and a roll-up-your-sleeves can-do attitude. The ideal candidate will have experience editing video content for social distribution. You will work cross-functionally with Digital Marketing, Category Marketing, Advertising, Creative, and Global teams to upload and manage content across playlists. Your depth of platform knowledge (both functional as well as strategic) and your proven ability to drive meaningful engagement with your communities that fueled both growth and positive sentiment will set you apart from the field.

Summary of Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Manage and execute content, growth, and search strategies for the YouTube channel.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and agencies to determine content proposition, programming strategy, branding, and reporting.
• Write/edit video titles and descriptions; maintain a consistent voice across the channel aligned with branding and target audience.
• Edit video content as needed to provide a variety of lengths and formats for other channels.
• Define, implement and educate others on best practices for YouTube channel execution, audience insights and SEO.
• Establish KPIs and benchmarks, and create recurring reporting from YouTube and Google Analytics to show the impact of content and optimization efforts.
• Develop data-driven recommendations for activation on YouTube, with the goal of driving KPIs including viewership, engagement and discoverability.
• Own and manage publishing calendar, upload video content, and ensure all video content is optimized and organized effectively through playlists, titles, tags, thumbnails, annotations, etc.
• Build a participatory and engaged community by responding to video comments; listen and derive insights to help inform future video and social content.
• Collaborate with the media and planning teams to promote YouTube content and execute paid media.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and agencies to source, vet and engage with YouTube creators, influencers, and advocates.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• YouTube Certified credentials strongly preferred. Deep knowledge of YouTube platform capabilities.
• YouTube Analytics and Google Analytics experience.
• The ability to edit and optimize a piece of video content or creative for use in multiple channels in various formats.
• Tactical mastery of building community, interacting with consumer audiences.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong presentation skills.
• Demonstrated strong collaborative, consultative, project management, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively build partnerships, and influence stakeholders and decision-making.
• Professional experience managing branded channels across multiple social media platforms.
• Must be a self-starter with energy, strong work ethic, drive and determination to accomplish goals.

Summary of Experience
• 4-7 years of professional social media or digital marketing experience
• Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally to accomplish business goals
• Proven experience managing a YouTube channel and engaging with communities through social channels
• Energized by working in a fast paced organization
