Community Manager

Our client, an integrated digital agency in Boston, is growing fast and is looking for a community manager, starting in late May.
This position starts as contract, but has the possibility of going perm.

Requirements:
- Platform Management: Work on the front lines of client’s social media channels as the main communicator for the brand across platforms - distributing content, regularly
engaging with consumers and managing customer service requests (where needed).
- Content Creation: Ability to work across organization with copywriters, designers, video production to create or repurpose assets to be used within client social channels.
- Strategy Support: Assist strategy leads in developing effective plans and the ability to help translate proposed strategic approach into tangible programs.
- Account Administration: Assist account leads in supporting communications between agency and client to ensure teams are continually integrated.
- Analytical Understanding: This person needs to understand the translation of analytics into insights that can help better drive social media strategy and programs.

Background:
- Agency/marketing/community management experience, preferably in a consumer-focused industry/environment
- Solid understanding of key platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Polyvore, etc.) and tools (Radian6, Hootsuite, etc.)
- A four year degree in marketing, communications, public relations or similar field is preferred

Bonus Round:
- Experience in blogger/influencer marketing and collaboration
- Understanding of the connection between social media and digital marketing
- Ability to make local restaurant recommendations at a moment’s notice
- Solid knowledge of quotable movies
