Community Manager

In this role, you’ll work with curriculum teams to surface feedback from the education community and coordinate improvements. You’ll design and implement trainings to aid teachers and schools in implementing the curriculum. You’ll work with district staff and administrators to implement solutions that work best for their schools. 

Overall Responsibilities: 
-Recruit new middle and high schools, community colleges and institutions providing adult education to deliver the program 
-Identify and train teachers within schools and institutions to implement the program
-Create and run trainings that aid in the adoption of curriculum 
-Identify partnerships that enable successful adoption of the program
-Provide feedback from the field to curriculum teams 
-Identify topic areas where the program should consider future curriculum development 

Required Skills: 
-BA/BS in any field, In lieu of degree, 10 years of relevant experience. 
-5 years of experience in education, non-profit management, community organizing, or advocacy. 
-Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguous projects 
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders across businesses and leadership levels 
-Open to traveling to schools 

Nice to have skills/Not required: 
-Professional teaching experience 
-Demonstrated experience working in/with historically underserved communities
