If you are looking to work for a really trendy fast growing group of businesses in the food/beverage and hospitality venue space then you will certainly want to read on. We are currently recruiting for a Community Manager to come and join a well-established business to work across multiple brands within the group. The businesses include food and beverage outlets, sit down restaurants, bars and hotels and are recognisable names across Melbourne and the wider area. The company has been running around 5 years and has experienced consistent growth year on year. They are currently close to 500 staff nationwide but have maintained a relatively small head office at around 25. The recruitment for this role is part of a push to improve the capabilities of their marketing team and you will be starting around the same time as other members of staff which are all being brought in to increase the groups presence in the Victoria area and nationally. 

As the Community Manager, you will report into the Group Marketing Manager and be responsible for managing social and online community relations for the groups multiple brands and across multiple channels. The role will not solely be content focused but will have a large focus on customer engagement, taking feedback on board and working with the different business units to improve the overall customer experience. 

You will focus on delivery of the social media strategy, encompassing the needs of each brand

Respond to comments and customer queries in a timely manner and work with various areas of the business to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes

You will manage social media and communication campaigns to align with marketing strategies

Lead the development of social content in conjunction with brand and venue managers including engaging text, image and video content for social media accounts 

Monitor and report on feedback and online reviews

Monitor and report on social media content figures i.e. views, click through etc.

Develop and maintain relationships with brand influencers

Work on local area marketing planning and execution in conjunction with venue managers and wider team

Provide community relations consultation and support to the Functions teams

Work with digital marketing to deliver digital any relevant activity

Build relationships with customers, potential customers, industry professionals and journalists 

Assist the marketing team with public relations in conjunction with the PR agency
