This role will be at the center of influencing, developing and amplifying people of action stories across the company.

The role
The brand team is looking for an individual that can inspire and influence the broader marketing community, ideally moving our company closer to participating in peoples’ conversations. We intend to empower people of action through use of multiple technologies, enabling them to overcome their challenges and succeed in changing the status quo for the better.

Ideally we are looking for a people centered individual who can form relationships with inspiring people of action easily, recognizing how our organization can support and empower them to achieve their goals. We require strategic thinkers that can also execute flawlessly.

This person will recognize the potential of amplifying authentic people stories, through social events, retail and advertising channels.

This person will be able to work with a range of teams within the company and be equally good at listening as they are at sharing.
This is a global role working with and through the Brand team. This role helps to manage the People of Action (PoA) program, which seeks to identify and PoA with technology to enable them to achieve more and change the status quo for the better.

The Community & Program Manager is involved in every part of the program including:
• Strategic planning
• Investigation, research and source of potential PoAs
• Managing and nurturing relationships with potential and existing PoAs
• Representation of the PoA across the company in order to establish commitment to support from internal teams.
• Coordination of agency and resources to support PoAs
• Understanding and tracking of all aspects of relationship and agreements with PoAs
• Capture of PoA stories and content for internal sell-in
• Working with a creative brand team and agency support PoAs with the production of videos, photography, and other assets featuring PoAs
• Assisting in creative planning to amplify these stories with product marketing teams and channels
• Capture process documentation and learning
• Support the engagement of the Empowering storytelling V-team.

In addition to the above, the Community & Program Manager will need to build strong internal relationships across the company to identify potential technology or investment solutions that resides in separate business functions. The broader role includes bringing together other stories that are being told by different departments and product groups.

As mentioned above, this role is responsible for the ongoing nurturing of these relationships. At times that can include offering technical help, or problem solving, A good understanding of technology, such as Cloud sharing / operating software would be beneficial, as often we use this for gathering user generated content.

You should be a person of action however also be able to listen or empathies. The ability to put people at ease and allow them to open up are important. As is being proactive, attention to detail, organization, being a self-starter.
You are able to communicate at multiple levels and across multiple groups.
You are bright and have a proven track record, ideally with a good knowledge of the online, advertising and marketing world.
You can think strategically and act tactically.
You work well independently or as part of a team.
You enjoy keeping things in order and seeing things through to the end, with an almost obsessive attention to detail.
You are comfortable briefing creative or product teams and ensuring that they are have all that they require.
