(c) Management, Inc. is looking for a Communications Associate to create marketing strategies
and develop materials to support our clients in the areas of membership recruitment and
retention, meetings promotion, advocacy, and education.
Create and produce marketing materials for all client meetings and education programs
including emails, postcards, brochures, flyers, posters, electronic presentations, and more.
Write and edit content for e-newsletters.
Write and/or edit materials for meetings including objectives, speaker bios,
communications to attendees pre- and post-meetings, program books, and onsite loops
Maintain and update websites with news, sponsors, meetings information (including
presentations and agendas), and all other relevant information.
Work with staff to select appropriate graphic images and maintain consistent branding on
client marketing materials.
Write copy and oversee production of membership brochures and posters.
Own the calendar, logistics and administrative responsibilities for all pieces of the
marketing process for the state societies
Relevant bachelor's degree and 2+ years of marketing experience, ideally in an association or
association management company. Excellent communication and organizational skills are required
with ability to write and edit copy for accuracy and readability. Must be self-motivated and
directed, able to produce high-quality material and provide exceptional service to members and
clients. Must maintain a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work well
with multiple staff, clients, and vendors to meet deadlines, to handle a diverse workload, and to
produce high-quality materials.
Experience with basic HTML/CSS and general technical proficiency.
Highly proficient with Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Fireworks) .
Skills with creating and editing images a plus.
Database experience a plus.
Customer service experience in a membership organization is preferred.
Must work well under general supervision, be team-oriented, and have the ability to work
with cross functional teams.
