Communications/PR Manager

My client is a worldwide Sales, Marketing and Services organization on the cutting edge of the digital advertising industry. We are the engine that powers the buying and selling of digital advertising across all aspects of our digital portfolio including our high-growth search engine, Bing.
The VP of International Strategic Sales is seeking a Communications/PR Lead that can design and execute against the group’s overall communication strategy with the objective of promoting the Search Advertising strategy to the market and landing internal messaging to the organization. The individual in this role will have proven expertise in customer presentation writing and the creation of organizational communications.

As the Communications Lead, your responsibilities will include:
Crafting and delivering external customer and industry communications through great presentations and speaker notes
Working with local PR and Trade Marketing partners to create his content, co-ordinate and negotiate his presence at external engagements
Developing a communications strategy to deliver the organizational goals: creating and implementing a communications framework for an internal audience
Yearly plan of communications from the VP of International Strategic Sales
Creating highly engaging VP and organization communications using email, social, video, in-person delivery and more
Shaping our approach to developing organizational culture: work very closely with VP and Sales Leads to land overall company culture framework but also facilitate the development of local identity and collaboration initiatives
Fostering an environment where our employees feel engaged and able to interact and collaborate with each other
Leading the creation of content for the organization: lead and create his messaging at All-Hands, Summits, Leadership Team offsites and one-off events
Working with corporate partners

Qualifications:
• The ideal candidate should have considerable communications and/or public relations experience
• Advertising and/or consumer technology domain knowledge and experience is required
• Experience working with senior leaders and with executives is critical in this role
• The candidate must have a proven experience achieving successful results in an international environment
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex issues and formulate recommendations to a wide variety of audiences, are essential
• This high visibility role will demand a strong mix of communication and planning skills

Experience required:
- BA/BS in PR, Journalism, English or Communications (or equivalent)
