Communications Writer / Editor

We're looking for a Communications Writer / Editor who will consult with leaders and project teams on internal communications strategy, develop communications plans, and manage the creation, approval, and distribution of communications to varied audiences using multiple delivery channels.

You will complete this work—including planning, writing, editing, and distribution—himself/herself, or in partnership with other Corporate Communications resources as needed.

Use existing and emerging communications channels, targeted email, print and emerging internal social media channels.

Will help develop communications and change management strategies for a project that involves significant change to the organization.

This role is primarily responsible for internal communications strategy reaching team members, managers, and the HR community.

A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING:
 Strong consulting skills; comfortable making recommendations to senior leaders around complex and challenging subjects to influence business strategy
 Excellent writing and editing skills with an ability to take complicated subject matter and make messaging simple, clear, and engaging to communicate appropriate messaging to varied stakeholder groups across many channels
 Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail and follow up
 Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate effectively and work positively across all levels of an organization
 Demonstrated ability to operate independently with limited supervision demonstrating sound judgment and good decision making
 Excellent influencing and problem solving skills
 Ability and availability to support multiple projects, across multiple time zones

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE ROLE
• At least 4 years of communications experience with proven communications consulting experience with senior business and functional leaders to achieve desired outcomes.
• Demonstrated writing ability for varied internal audiences across multiple channels.
• Experience developing, leading and executing communications plans and strategies.
• Experience providing communications support to internal clients in areas of high complexity and with a significant role in business strategy.
• Experience in writing, producing, and distributing communications

PREFERRED SKILLS
• Experience in HR communications, specifically compensation
