Communications Specialist and Designer

Support the development and implementation of marketing and communication plans for the high-visibility IT product. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and project management skills, working knowledge of digital tools such as Windows, Office, and SharePoint and an understanding of how they relate to improved office productivity for employees. In addition, lead brand management and communications related to the launch and ongoing operations of walk-up tech help centers for employees. Primary responsibilities will include - - Develop/support communication plans and related communications that launch new/improved digital tools - Work across teams and partner with key stakeholders to understand key messages and create appropriate communications - Develop a diverse range of communications and styles which may include emails, articles, infographics, videos or video scripts, brochures, other marketing materials, etc. - Collaborate with communications specialists within the IT organization to share best practices - Identify opportunities for new communication channels or ways of communicating - Understand industry communication standards and trends and leverage them to support program objectives 

Skills Required: 
- Self-starter, highly motivated, team player, who can also work independently with minimal guidance - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously - Ability to translate complex technical concepts into non-technical user-friendly messaging - Ability to identify how to position communications to fit various audiences, business objectives and branding standards - Understanding of Organizational Change Management Methodologies and how they relate to communication development - Ability to construct quality work plans and deliverables from minimal definitions -Owns assignments from concept to execution - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including verbal, written, and listening -Strong facilitation, presentation, and collaboration skills - Knows AP Style - Marketing and marketing communications -Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite -Effective time management and prioritization skills - Project management skills 

Experience Preferred: 
-Graphic Design (Adobe suite)  and experience working with large global organizations, and all levels of workforce 

Education Required: 
Bachelor's degree
