Communications Specialist-Project Manager and Content

This person will support the development and implementation of marketing and communication plans for specific programs. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and project management skills, working knowledge of digital tools such as Windows, Office, and SharePoint and an understanding of how they relate to improved office productivity for employees. Primary responsibilities will include - - Develop/support communication plans and related communications that launch new/improved digital tools - Work across teams and partner with key stakeholders to understand key messages and create appropriate communications - Develop a diverse range of communications and styles which may include emails, articles, infographics, videos or video scripts, brochures, other marketing materials, etc. - Collaborate with communications specialists within the IT organization to share best practices - Identify opportunities for new communication channels or ways of communicating - Understand industry communication standards and trends and leverage them to support program objectives. Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously - Have the ability to translate complex technical concepts into non-technical user-friendly messaging - Ability to identify how to position communications to fit various audiences, business objectives and branding standards - Understanding of Organizational Change Management Methodologies and how they relate to communication development - Ability to construct quality work plans and deliverables from minimal definitions - Knows AP Style - Marketing and marketing communications. 

Candidates must be local and fit within the hourly pay rate range as outlined.
