Communications Specialist

SUMMARY The Communication Specialist will assist the Enterprise Architecture team in planning and creating multiple types of creative communications collateral including: internal video, graphics, presentations, templates, process flows, process documentation for program communications consumed by a wide range of audiences from C-level executives to individual contributors throughout The Company. The Communications Specialist will also assist in delivering these communications collateral via the multiple communications channel in the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES Using a unique blend of creative and technical know-how, this individual will be responsible for developing and delivering creative content using video, photographic and graphic expertise for presentations, learning modules, infographics, dashboards, logo/icon designs, brand application, short and long-form video. The individual will work in a fast-paced environment and have opportunities to work on the communications needs for the Enterprise Architecture projects. • Content Design and development to support the Enterprise Architecture projects including their tracking, delivery and archiving upon completion of work • Participation in team meetings, briefings to articulate creative vision • Project tracking and management, including reporting status • Videography project oversight and production – including project management, shooting, editing, revising, delivering projects • Video production (graphics, music, narration) and editing using Final Cut Pro, Premiere and Adobe applications • Assist in managing digital media assets • Presentation design using Keynote (Mac) and PowerPoint (PC) and slideware software • Presentation storyboarding and simplistic motion graphics • Content creation using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, for a variety of digital mediums including video, e-mail communications, training artifacts, dashboards and presentations • Event support including photo and video documentation • Identify opportunities to utilize communication collateral for marketing the Enterprise Architecture programs’ content to encourage participation as required by the programs
Basic Qualifications BASIC QUALIFICATIONS • Must have strong editing skills • Demonstrated graphic design skills and familiarity with Web /user interface design • Photography skills • Applicant should have expert visual skills in After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Keynote, Final Cut, Premiere, Avid, etc.… as well as knowledge of NTSC and PAL standards. • Expert understanding of video platforms, data, and trends. • Must be CREATIVE, ORGANIZED, SMART, and CLIENT-FOCUSED. • He/she must have experience in a fast-paced, collaborative, and ever-changing environment. • Editors should have extensive experience in Motion Graphics, Final Cut Pro, Avid, Premiere and After Effects. • Ability to articulate storylines required for planning video and presentation projects • Sensitivity to design concepts within the technology space, with special emphasis on content design and impactful graphics

Preferred Qualifications

Top must haves. _ Have candidates submit a link or samples of their work.
1. Expertise in content planning and creating and designing content with a marketing spin to it. We deploy XYZ tool and its used for something technical and to explain how to use it. Be able to write something that is consumable to the audience using combination of text, graphics (i.e. when to use a table, when to use text or when to use graphic).
2. Writing to key audience. Writing something that can be understood from a novice to super user.
3. Knowledge of open source technology is a plus.
4. Technical expertise in creating content.
5. Technical writing background very useful.
