Aquent's client is looking for a Communications Consultant.
Below is the description:
The specialist will work with the Sales Promotion and Integration Team to support the design, development and implementation of key integrated sales initiatives in support of planning, products and markets sales & adoption goals with a focus on the long-term care product. The role will support the long-term care consultant and AD and ensure sales programs are aligned to the client's financial security promise as it relates to comprehensive planning and integrated solutions. This specialist role will support the development of deliverables including communication plans, various field communications, sales tools and marketing materials in support of integrated sales initiatives.

Description of duties:
• Write & edit marketing-oriented content from scratch or constructed from multiple stakeholder comments
• Modify core and secondary Field and Client-facing materials; ready them for state filing; track and report progress.
• Make recommendations for language to use for marketing and compliance purposes.
• Facilitate state and NM approval processes, track and report progress.
• Manage materials transfer between other teams, including Creative Services, Product Compliance, and MMC.
• Ensure deadlines for revisions and materials creation are met.
• Assist in the development and execution of communication plans

Skills required:
• Strong communication, project management and writing skills.
• Knowledgeable on how to best leverage multiple channels of communication and engagement with target audiences.
• Use of design tools, specifically Adobe, to annotate/comment/organize content.
• Manage version history of documents to ensure quick transmittal of the most recent document.
• Microsoft Office tools including PowerPoint and SharePoint
• Experience providing work to creative design partners, and proofing results.
• Ability to work with cross functional partners effectively; conscious of how to minimize conflict
• Ability to adhere to timelines and adequately track status
• Extreme attention to detail, especially as it relates to proofreading and tracking changes.
• Fluency in organizational communications.
• Highly desired: LTC knowledge
• Highly desired: Knowledgeable in managing differences in Sales materials where state variations are involved

Is there any training required for this role?
* Training may be required to develop an understand of the long term care product and compliance regulations for marketing materials for LTC.
* B.S. / B.A. degree in business, marketing, sales or equivalent
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in designing and delivering marketing, sales or promotional initiatives to distribution and/or end users
• Strong problem solving skills
• Proven ability to leverage research insights and incorporate into plans and strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to identify marketing opportunities, develop creative solutions and implement initiatives with quality and within scope.
• Demonstrated initiative to deliver above and beyond
• Strong communication and project management skills.
• Effective ability to identify and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders representing a broad range of functions and levels in order to advance the objectives of the organization.
• Knowledgeable on how to best leverage multiple channels of communication and engagement with target audiences.
