Exciting Opportunity for a Senior Communications Specialist!

In this role you will:

Work with the Complaints team and Corporate Compliance Communications to deliver on communications strategies to help fulfill business priorities

Manage the writing, formatting, production, and distribution of project communications, ensuring a robust flow of timely news. Includes developing and managing a quality control process to ensure error-free, high-quality content

Serve as the liaison to Corporate Compliance Communications in providing content for Compliance and/or corporate-level messaging

Assist in populating existing communications plan; build and execute communications approaches working with line-of-business clients for business unit activities

Assist in developing and maintaining key messages

Manage day-to-day project communications using channels such as email, presentations, etc.

Maintain communication calendar of activities (or tactical plan) and ensure timely stakeholder approvals and message delivery

Assist with logistical and advance support for meetings and special events (such as training and quarterly reports)

Provide editing of messages, standards, policies, procedures, process flows, and other program documentation

Track scheduled communication milestones and deliverables

Manage distribution lists and message distribution

Manage communications calendar

Printing poster-sized project information

Scheduling meetings, preparing meeting agendas, notes, and issue management

Requirements:
Three years in corporate communications, PR, or related field

Managing communications to wide variety of audiences: business-writing, managing a newsletter or similar type of communication vehicle

Superior oral, written, presentation, editing, and interpersonal skills

Demonstrated proficiency and understanding of graphic design and web-based communications principles

Strong organizational skills and superior attention to detail

Ability to interact with all levels of internal customers

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Visio and Outlook

Understanding of AP style and demonstrated ability to follow corporate brand standards

Bachelor's Degree, preferably in English, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or Marketing

Experience in large financial organization and Managing corporate complaints experience a plus
