AQUENT is seeking a Communications Specialist for an exciting opportunity in Wilmington, DE.

In this role you will:
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts, copywriters and graphic designers to help formulate branding and marketing strategy for Communications team’s end-user products.
• Assist with maintenance of associate feedback program through creating communications and responses for the feedback submitters and routing requests to designated subject matter experts for resolution.
• Effectively negotiate and collaborate with feedback responders to deliver satisfactory responses to our associates.
• Provide direction conceptually within their assigned business group, and in collaboration with the copywriter and graphic designer, create/direct all new marketing efforts in all applicable channels that persuasively communicate objectives to the associate population.
• Create narrative and engaging stories that represent trends and issues of importance as defined by collected feedback from associates.
• Monitor the progress of their projects to ensure that the creative intent is not diluted or changed.
• Be self-organized and manage multiple deadlines on numerous, concurrent projects.
• Have strong presentation skills, being able to communicate both tactically as well as strategically.
• Ability to work independently to determine the needs of constituents and deliver against those needs.

Experience:
- REQUIRED: Prior communications experience, technical/digital proficiency (enough proficiency with web-based and digital applications that they can effectively use industry-standard tools to execute on internal communications/intranet work)
- 4-year degree specializing in communications, product management or similar function. Minimum of two years of communications or product management experience. 4+ years highly preferred.

Industry Knowledge:
The ideal candidate will be highly proficient technically and embraces the digital mindset. They have experience communicating to internal audiences. Prior experience with product management is preferred. They have the ability to effectively use communications strategies and techniques to market and brand products and info streams. They have experience bringing processes, technology or people solutions to meet the needs and challenges presented in existing communications channels and can effectively propose ideas for new channels or refining/refreshing existing ones.

Technical Knowledge:
Writing experience, baseline knowledge of HTML, use of WYSIWYG software such as Dreamweaver preferred, experience with Microsoft SharePoint is a plus.
