AQUENT is seeking a Communications Manager for an exciting opportunity in New York, NY!

This communications manager role will act as an account manager for targeted lines of businesses. He or she will manage day to day communications to an internal audience, and will develop content based on business strategies and determine the appropriate channel for messaging for their assigned line of business. He or she will be a strategic communications consultant to their businesses and leaders to create, implement, innovate and oversee communications strategies, channel management, presentations and other internal communication-related client specific projects.

Responsibilities:
- Establish an integrated internal communications plan tapping new channels and engaging digital strategies. Execute and build communications strategies and internal client specific projects for business unit activities or specific key business project initiatives.

- Have regular engagement with key leaders /associates within the business to enable a thoughtful plan that addresses declared objectives

- Manage day-to-day communications sent out to specific business associates. Channels include – but are not limited to - emails, newsletters, videos

- In close collaboration with HR, measurably drive increased associate engagement within division through integrated associate communications based on an understanding of their needs, pain points and preferred ways to consume information

- Partner with Commercial Communications Lead to deliver a proactive internal messaging plan on agreed culture shift topics

- Strengthen internal communications based on best practices: Create an annual content strategy and delivery plan that establishes a regular, coordinated rhythm that captures associate attention and impacts their behaviors

- Develop a consistent and planned “voice” for the LOB Head to ensure that associates are motivated, committed and engaged by leadership communications

- Provide ongoing executive messaging, writing and presentation support

- Develop and manage internal communications campaigns with a strong focus on project management.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree or military experience
- At least 6 years of experience leading marketing communications strategic efforts
- At least 5 years of managing multiple projects simultaneously
- At least 5 years in oral and written communications- At least 5 years of experience in developing and implementing integrated communication strategies to drive organizational change
- At least 3 years of experience in partnering with and coaching senior executives on effective communications supporting organization objectives

Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters Degree
- 2+ years of financial services experience
