Communications Specialist - Fixtures Supply Chain

Our global client in Kohler, WI is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented and versatile Communication Specialist for the Supply Chain division. Reporting to Corporate Public Relations Manager, the Communications Specialist provides strategic communications expertise and strong writing skills to enhance corporate culture, employee engagement and organizational effectiveness; support executive communications; and build a positive corporate reputation.

This role is responsible for delivering high-quality, professional, timely and relevant communications to support business needs and expectations. It facilitates consistency in communications by translating information among various platforms across the organization to ensure accurate, professional and unified application of our employee value proposition and the Kohler corporate brand.

Ideal candidates will possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field (Communications, Journalism, English, Public Relations).
- 5+ years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or other relevant experience required. Expertise in executive communications, speechwriting and social media a plus
- Superb writing skills in all forms of strategic communications materials, including articles, blog posts, intranet content, news releases, case studies, executive presentations and speeches
- Solid knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods including alternative ways to inform and entertain via written, oral, and visual media
