Communications SharePoint Content Specialist

Strong Digital Communications candidate with primary experience with SharePoint content, communication, as well as the technologies commonly used in these areas.

First order of business is to conduct a needs analysis for optimizing site content.

Requirements :
Experience managing SharePoint Sites
2 years with experience with SharePoint
2 years design or communications experience
2 year degree- required ( 4 year degree preferred)

Must work quickly to respond to requests from Intranet Site Managers and Content Owners to assist with various aspects of creating and optimizing the client's intranet content (which includes web pages, imagery, and documents).

Tasks will include:
- Site and web page creation
- Site navigation setup and configuration
- Search optimization
- Setup and configuration of SharePoint lists, document libraries, and out-of-box web parts
- Site migration and/or reorganization (from non-SharePoint to SharePoint, or from one SharePoint site to another)
- Permission setup and audits
- Copywriting
- Possible banner, icon or other imagery design

Ideal Candidate skill sets should include:
- A very good understanding of what SharePoint can offer out of the box
- How SharePoint integrates into the different Office versions
- An understanding of what effect basic SharePoint site settings have
- A very clear understanding of the security model of SharePoint
- Some knowledge management / information architecture expertise
- A basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
o Ability to decipher and troubleshoot existing markup and script.
o Ability to implement and manipulate CSS styling.
- Some experience with digital imagery and design, and commonly associated tools.
- Proven success working toward deadlines
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
