The candidate will detail proofing for all channels, with heavy emphasis on direct mail content (i.e. copy/images/offers/phone number/drug information). Relies on instruction and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of this job. Reviews material and corrects inconsistencies in spelling, grammar, punctuation, clarity, style and other content specifications.

Demonstrates the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Candidate will be self-motivated with the ability to work independently, in a fast-paced environment.

Highly accountably for any error that may result in a customer service issue. Required to produce error free data that meets all deadlines and conforms to all programs standards.


PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

% Time

  • Detail proofreads content – interfacing with Access, Excel, Aprimo, additional prpriatery proofing websites from vendors. Review of image, copy, offers, and legal disclaimers. Resolve content issues. Guidelines are pre-determined. 80%
  • Implement and maintain editorial policies and standards. Works across department and vendor lines to resolve issues and create solutions while troubleshooting discrepancies found. 10%
  • Working independently and prioritizing workload 10%

  • Professional editing of communications for plan members/prescribers against internal applications and databases to confirm accuracy of targeting and display of printed information.
  • Document all activity in the department database.
  • Interface with the communication and processing team to review and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
  • Daily review of output pieces from internal/external processing equipment appearance and accuracy of computer merge fields and information.
  • Responsible to review & interpret claims data in all adjudication platforms.
  • Analyze the accuracy of participant's accumulations and financials.
  • Work collaboratively with internal partners to assure process improvements that drive quality, deliverable consistency and compliance with regulatory and contracted requirements
  • Facilitate timely identification, tracking and resolution of escalated issues to ensure efficiency
  • Support ad hoc business needs as appropriate
  • Perform ongoing Quality Assurance of Member and Prescriber communications
  • Ability to work successfully in a high volume deadline-oriented environment within defined turnaround times and excellent quality.
  • Ability to analyze, summarize report data and run queries as appropriate.

  • Extraordinary department projects and/or other tasks assigned by our Supervisor.
  • Supply feedback/updates to standard procedures.
  • Require continued simplex training throughout the team.
  • Responsible for assisting upper management in daily tasks such as coordination of scheduling.
  • Participates in continuous improvement efforts that include, but are not limited to; cross-training and projects
  • Effectively plan, prioritize, organize time and workload
  • Communicating with other departments, customers, and outsource vendors to facilitate timely handling of mailings.
  • Daily meetings for process review, feedback, and issue management. Occasional travel to off-site learning and vendor sites to support the department may be required
