Communications Project Manager

Our client, the world’s largest dedicated security technology company, is looking for a Communications Project Manager in Dallas for a long term contract opportunity!

The Communications Project Manager will be responsible for recurring customer communications with heavy technology content. Working with product support engineers and senior support managers, you will plan, develop, edit and publish product news and best practices content for customer newsletters, collateral, and related webinars and forums.

Critical to this position will be the experience, organization skills, and discipline necessary to oversee rolling production and distribution schedules. You will be expected to exercise good judgment in assessing content quality and in dealing with senior contributors regarding deadlines. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing project plans or requirements documents for communications campaigns that may include documentation, videos, presentations, and scripts.

You must be a seasoned writer/editor, able to adjust your writing style to another’s voice; write/edit text for consistency, understanding, simplicity, flow, and accuracy; produce quality content under tight deadlines; and manage multiple recurring projects with dependability and minimal direction.

- A proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required; intermediate knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint and HTML editing programs such as Dreamweaver is highly desired.
- You will be an individual contributor and report to the director of Global Communications Management, WW Delivery & Support Services.

REQUIREMENTS:
- BA in English, Communications, Marketing, or related field
- A minimum of 7 years’ experience in marketing, corporate or internal communications with demonstrated experience managing complex projects, publications, or product launches
- Expert writing, editing and proofreading skills demonstrated in a corporate environment (samples required); accuracy and attention to detail critical
- Self-directed; able to be productive and meet deadlines with minimal direction
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills suitable for collaborating with multiple global stakeholders at all levels of management

• This is a 12 month, full-time, W-2 contract position located in Plano, TX
• This position is not eligible for telecommute or offsite work
