Job Title: Communications Controller
Reporting To: Director of Acquisition
West London
3 month contract to start ASAP

The candidate will be planning Customer Comms Campaigns across all routes to market ATL (budget of £30mill) and executing the campaigns BTL (£6mill: offline, digital and 3rd party). Basically pushing sales numbers.

You will need to have experience with Strategic planning ATL. My client will want to know what channels you have worked on and how you strategically planned.

Need to be familiar with all media channels

Must have exp of the following:

·Acquisitions background


·Online services

·Direct reports (managing a team of 6 in this role)


·Retail events is desirable but not necessity

·Digital background

·In-house experience

·Exp in messaging

·Exp in start-up companies is a plus

Proven track record driving down acquisitions costs

You will be forecasting budgets, looking at KPIs, planning up to 12 months ahead. You will also be leading the creative and working closely with 3rd party agencies.

Stakeholder management essential

Need to really know this part of the business/market place.


As the Communications Controller you will be responsible for:

• Delivering communications strategy and quarterly plans
• Delivering the media and campaign plans by quarter
• Owning the KPIs for driving people to sign up from our communications as well as managing the budget you own for marketing.
• Owning the message hierarchy
• Delivering all the direct comms across various media channels including TV, press, display, door drops and continuously optimizing channels and testing new ones.
• Delivering communications to support partnership and retailer channels
• Delivering the insight from our campaigns on a daily, weekly and quarterly basis
• Maximising the relationships and deliverables from our media and creative agencies.
• Delivering a world class on-site experience, driving people through the online sales funnel to sign up.
• Collaborating with internal parties like our brand, social, CRM, Trading, finance and partnerships teams
