Communications Manager, Corp V

The M&A Communications Manager will focus on all internal and external communications (both written and verbal) around our client's Mergers & Acquisitions activity. It is essential that the successful candidate create and deliver critical communications to our client's audiences on both a regularly scheduled and ad hoc basis.
Duties include:
•Build communications strategies that maximize the delivery of the acquisition strategy across the target company and our client
•Build on-going communications strategies with low touch, high impact in a highly matrixed organization that yields maximum return on all IMO and Corporate Development initiatives
•Consistent high quality content development/management for all - Executive Sponsor, employee, customer/partner and distributor communications
•Coordination of content creation across multiple functions and disciplines
•On-going web portal creation, updates and enhancements
•Initiation and compilation of integration surveys and their respective results both employee and team
•Planning, development, execution, quality assurance and metric tracking of all communications programs
•Ensure high quality deliverables managed to tight deadlines
•No direct responsibility for AR/PR but must ensure an integrated and powerful approach to ensure our client's M&A thought leadership
•Write and edit original work products for a variety of vehicles including both print and online (email, web, slide presentations, feature articles, executive communications)
•Serve as a PowerPoint specialist

Consults with internal departments, develops content that promotes the appropriate message, and ensures its accuracy. Utilizes extensive knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques of oral and written communications and interpersonal relations skills in order to determine the most effective communication methods and materials, to persuade organization management and/or personnel to accept suggestions and proposals, and to foster effective relationships among all parts of the organization Level V is a Subject Matter Expert with 8-12 years of Experience
