Communications Manager

This client is looking for someone to review their current communications platforms and resources for their 4 markets. Working alongside a strategist initially, this person will implement the chosen communication strategy to help combat their current challenges and develop a strong online presence for the next 2-3 years, from reputation management, activation of content on social media and including marketing skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement and administer the communication strategy for each country with a focus on reinforcing the correct terminology within communication and promoting the benefits of working as an independent contractor, and also for working as an independent Brand Ambassador with Appco. This includes the following platforms specifically;
o Websites, social media accounts (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Google+, Twitter, and other media, including market specific social media platforms), Blogs and other internet based communication
o Internal promotional literature (magazines, brochures, posters etc)
o Internal communication material from an overall communications perspective (recruitment communication, new start process, promotion/advancement material, exit material)
o External promotional material (Business Development brochures, industry advertisements)
• Ensure the consistency, accuracy and quality of internal and external communications and sales collateral produced for each country by proofreading all content that comes through the team for design/publication.
• Research communication development and trends to ensure we are utilizing relevant communication tools and platforms and ensure best practice in local markets
• Develop and source content for all online communication platforms
• Producing blogs and thought-leadership articles in line with the organisation’s online content strategy
• Ensuring the ongoing optimisation of the organisation’s SEO.
• Understanding of relevant Independent Contractor terminology, regulations and legislation in each jurisdiction
• To maintain strong professional relationships with all staff and the contracted sales organisation
• Assist with events coordination as required
