Communications Manager

Technology company seeks Communications Manager to drive the development, creation and delivery of communications, and to support internal clients. This is a full-time, onsite, temporary role (6 months), that has the potential to become permanent. The Communications Manager will work with the Senior Director of Corporate Communications and the Human Resources team to understand objectives and strategies to help optimize and effectively execute programs and plans. Working with internal creative resources and agencies, the Communications Manager will ensure development of compelling content and deliverables that meet desired strategic goals.

Deliverables should be consistent across all channels and aligned to the company’s brand standards. The role will prioritize activities to ensure deliverables are on time and on budget and meet corporate guidelines, brand strategies, and quality standards and requirements.

The Communications Manager must function as a team player building strong relationships with the business and execution teams. Effectiveness in this role requires a thorough working knowledge of the marketing communications process, and consistently focused on finding more efficient and effective ways to develop highly impactful and effective communications. The Communications Manager will also need to exercise judgment within defined procedures to determine the best course of action, and be able to interact with all levels of internal personnel. The role requires excellent communication and organizational skills to communicate status and activities with confidence and professionalism.

The Communications Manager will possess deep subject matter expertise, writing and content development skills, and exhibit strong ability to manage and prioritize projects and responsibilities – clarifying objectives, identifying issues, finding solutions and executing all tasks with a high degree of detail and timeliness. The Communications Manager will develop detailed communications and project management tracking, collaborating with internal and external business partners. In addition, the role requires bringing marketing communications best practices to bear, to coach, and guide on most impactful marketing techniques and channels to drive most effective marketing impact and ROI. Finally, Employee Communications Manager will drive delivery of projects, and reports on status, schedules, budgets, and deliverables. A continual focus on process improvement will be an important aspect as well.
