We have an exciting opportunity for a Communications Manager for a GREAT financial client in Milwaukee. The right candidate is an experienced internal communications professional with excellent writing skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Works hand-in-hand with Leadership team to establish and implement the overall communications strategy and tactics
- Creates, edits and reviews all communications to ensure the consistency of tone and messages. Specific communications tools and tactics include: memos, emails, videos, speeches, and news stories regarding key business goals and priorities, product, operational, human resources and leadership topics as well as processes/procedures, products, services, sales strategies and technologies
- Manages and works with Communications Specialist to assign, review and execute on projects and priorities
- Serves as the communications consultant and implements the communications plan for annual and periodic business initiatives
- Plans, implements and tracks various company-initiated client communications projects
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5-10 years of experience in a related field, preferably in a financial or professional services environment
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional marketing and communications team
- Exceptional written and strategic communications skills including planning, content development, editing and proofing
- Expert-level project management and organizational skills, and ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or Public Relations
