Communications Manager - Property, Finance, Insurance

My client is a leading property finance organization, with a fantastic and long-standing reputation.  Due to increased growth they are now looking for an experienced Communications Manager with 5 + years experience to come on board.  You will be responsible for driving company reputation and providing value to prospective and exciting franchisees and employees and its brands across Australia, NZ and emerging markets. By delivering high quality communication strategies, creative tactics, strong internal messaging and exceptional media relationships, the role works with the marketing team to increase brand awareness and grow the customer base.

Responsibilities:

You will build reputation and profile for consumer and industry circles
B2C communication strategies to drive customer acquisition
B2B communication strategies to grow broker, employee and independent networks, build exceptional relationships with industry and consumer media so the company is the go-to-brand for commentary.  You will also work across proactive media relations & events,
and Blogger & influencer relations to secure coverage and maintain the one-source-of-truth corporate profile and awards register list.

You will create communication plans and tactics to launch business initiatives, implement communication plans to drive registration of corporate events and conferences, liaise with the crisis Communications Consultant as required
and ensure all executive and relevant stakeholders are alerted to and updated on all issues.

You will contribute to monthly marketing reports,
media monitoring,
industry issue briefings, executive team & spokespeople media training, and training for corporate and broker networks.

Essential skills:

You will have a nose for news to secure media coverage, be proactive in regards to media relationships and management, work very well in a team, influence stakeholders at all levels.  You will be experienced on blogger and influencer management, have the ability to create highly tailored communication plans for B2C and B2B audiences and have superior writing skills, exceptional attention to detail
and the ability to communicate effectively.
