Communications Lead

Note this request is for a project related communications role that does not involve any community engagement activities. 

- Provide communications support and enable the distribution of key internal messages using a variety of channels - Creates and executes communications plans as well as tactical plans for key partnerships and issues, this may include: speech materials; event briefs; writing articles for internal publications; assistance with Graphic Design process - Maintain image libraries 
- Design and deliver an effective strategy for its key projects -Provide strategic advice to internal customers 

Critical Selection Criteria: 

Communications Expertise - Requires in-depth expertise in varying communications functions including internal, external, and media communications. Excellent English-language communications skills in a wide variety of mediums is critical. Demonstrated experience and exemplary ability to communicate clearly and concisely in written, verbal and visual formats is essential. Demonstrated experience with a broad variety of digital communications delivery. 

Teamwork and Collaboration Skills - Demonstrated ability to work independently, ability to build consensus and work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary environments; interact effectively with management, peers, partners, and suppliers. 

Organization and Project Management Skills - Demonstrated ability to build plans necessary for successful deliverable execution. Ability to identify and manage critical interdependencies and proactively resolve issues. Ability to manage third party resources or vendors. 

Strategic Acumen and Planning Skills - Demonstrated ability to translate business objectives, goals and strategies into communications strategies, plans and tactics. Ability to work with executives to establish effective communications strategies. Demonstrated ability to successfully implement and deliver communications strategies and plans 

Communications degree or similar. 8-10 years experience required. 

-Day to day: 
--Resource will be executing communication plans that arise from other activities such as Change Management, Training, and Deployment activities. 
--Any sort of communication that needs to be sent out to the stakeholders regarding the project 
--Most communications go out under the manager's name and will be writing these communications on the information given from the PM, Business Coordinator and Change Management Side 
--Communications are sent out to the organization via email and the SharePoint site 
--Will be working on Monthly Newsletters, PowerPoint presentations, and involved in face to face stakeholder meetings where these PowerPoints will be presented. 
- Will be working along side with Change Manager 

-Requirements: basic SharePoint, PowerPoint experience, ability to present communications through different platforms such as emails and formatting them appropriately. Ability to create a compelling story for the audience. Soft Skills- ability to relate to diverse audience. Interpersonal skills that people are able to connect with and trust.
