Communications Lead

My Client is a Global Financial Institution, and they are looking for an experienced Communications Lead within their Global Financial Crime Risk Function. The role will be a part of their structural change program in the team, and has a contract duration of 6 months.

Role Purpose
- This role is part of the wider FCR communications structure – the team responsible for leading and driving global employee and other stakeholder communications to support the FCR function and the Global Standards programme.
- FCR is a new Global Financial Crime Risk Function which includes eight sub-functions, including the newly formed Financial Crime Threat Mitigation (FCTM) function.
- The role holder will work closely with the Global Head of FCTM and the leadership team, and the FCR Communications Function.
- They will evaluate the communications requirements for key audience groups, define a communications approach and plan for FCTM and implement the tactical communications activities.
- The role holder provides guidance on, and delivers communications to support the successful implementation of all FCTM related change.

Principal Accountabilities:
- Work as part of the FCTM leadership team and FCR communications team to implement FCTM communications
- FCTM communications:
o Define audience groupings and review communications requirements
o Develop and implement an effective communications approach and plan
o Define measures to evaluate communications success
o Deliver tactical communications activities such as the writing and managing of leadership communications, townhalls/calls, published articles and other dialogue based communication activities that support the formation of the new function and the transformation
o Advise on most effective communications approach and assist in the coordination of communications for key FCTM projects such as a Product Catalogue, amongst others
- Deliver high quality, effective employee and stakeholder communications for FCTM

The role holder is required to:
- Have the personal credibility and experience to engage with key business stakeholders to evaluate and deliver FCTM communications
- Work in collaboration with a wide group of colleagues
- Operate at strategic level, balancing the requirements of leaders, FCTM teams and Communications.
- This requires sound judgment, strong influencing skills, relationship management experience and strong audience understanding.
- The role holder is required to build strong networks across the FCTM, FCR and Communications to ensure effective outcomes and the use of appropriate communications tools.
- The role is responsible for creating and reviewing content across a variety of communications activities and formats
