Vitamin T has an EXCITING opportunity for a Jr. Communications Coordinator in Dallas, TX

Only local candidates and those who do not require sponsorship to work in the United States will be considered.

The Communications Coordinator will report directly to the Director of Marketing and will assist with the development and implementation of strategic communication initiatives for the company at large. The role will be responsible for coordination and implementation of internal communication across all divisions within our client. The position will help coordinate external communication as well, working directly with their PR agency for media relations outreach and initiatives. The position will also be a primary support for communications and marketing efforts for HR, Recruiting, Compliance, and other Support Services departments. The position will require a creative thinker and strong writer who understands corporate communication and detailed project management.

Competencies
o Strong writing and proofreading skills with ample knowledge of grammar and sentence structure
o Conversational writing style with the ability to infuse personality into all messaging
o Self-starter with exceptional organizational and follow-through skills
o Creative thinker who enjoys writing compelling content and stories with ability to clearly articulate information
o Experience implementing marketing initiatives
o Must have strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to work with multiple levels of an organization
o Capable of organizing time, prioritizing and working on several projects within the same period – strong project management capabilities
o Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to change well
o Ability to influence others with tact and diplomacy
o Positive attitude with a desire to go above and beyond expectations
o Strong initiative to solve problems and detail-oriented
o Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Education/Credentials

o Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in marketing, communications, journalism or a related field.
o 1-2 years of professional marketing experience required. Healthcare experience preferred.
o Must be able to provide writing samples
