Communications Coordinator

Our client, a local Oil and Gas company, has recently created a new Digital Team to manage and brand all digital projects within their Fuel and Lubes division. With this newly formed team, there is a platform migration to SiteCore and a newly launched website that require dedicated communication support. They are looking for a Junior Communications Coordinator to work with their external vendor located downtown on their Management of Change (MoC) Communications Strategy and Plan.

The ideal candidate needs to have experience working on cross-organizational projects within a multi-national company (e.g., big project experience). Responsibilities include:
• Finalize and manage the communications plan by communicating regularly with multiple internal teams and cross-LOB (lines of business) to ensure consistency and streamlined communication efforts
• Propose new ideas for external communications
• Collaborate with the client’s external vendor team to gather specifics, draft internal and external communications, and utilize appropriate channels for distribution
• Facilitate the approval process and garner feedback and consensus for all phases of the project
• Manage multiple facets of internal communications, including –
o Organize and prepare materials for radio talk show and other internal meetings
o Manage communications on internal SharePoint
• Assist with other MoC materials such as MoC workshops/process flows and inventory
• Manage the project team SharePoint site, redesign the front-end for more appealing
• Help with Security and Controls documentation – pull together the marketing-owned S&C documentation and help determine approach
• Assist team with developing approach for user acceptance testing, facilitate creation of test scripts
