We will need this person to concentrate on the official documentation of our various compensation programs. Primarily, we need this person to convert documentation from annual releases to more evergreen, field friendly pieces and pulling out just the info that updates on an annual basis. All of this – to simplify our communication process.
We are also creating a new comprehensive manual for field use.
Want someone who is clearly a good writer but at a level that can make recommendations for improvement. The role will require them working with multiple stakeholders including actuarial, legal and admin teams.
Secondarily, want to improve company’s intranet system presence in the short-term, knowing that the company will be doing a more extensive overhaul sometime in the future.
We are a team of 5 who work on communication, promotion and field education regarding the field's Total Rewards: compensation, benefits and recognition.
What are the must haves for this role?
Excellent written communication skills: experience with technical writing and developing training materials. We'd like the candidate to have the ability to distill technical material into easy-to-understand communications for Financial Representatives at any stage of their career (including field management).
Nice To Have:
Any experience in development of content for websites and some simple graphic design would be helpful but not required. Additional experience with developing content for a digital presence would be an additional plus.
