One of our valued Fortune 500 financial service and investment clients is in need of a talented and organization Communications Consultant who will be primarily responsible for “client” (external) communications and supporting the overall "Wealth Client”.

“Client Communications” is responsible for seeing and touching every piece of communication that will reach a client (excluding marketing materials). The Communications Consultant will have a role in managing all aspects of client communications in the context of the experience their clients have with Wealth Management Americas.

Key Responsibilities:
• This is both a strategic and executional role. The Communications Consultant will manage, deliver and maintain a broad suite of client communications. These include client notifications, disclosures, account statement inserts, and other mailings and electronic deliverables.
• S/he will work with partners in the business to create messaging that is accurate and appropriate in the context of the client experience.
• Role includes responsibility for assessing levels of urgency, providing strategic guidance, exercising judgment over the need for communications, connecting the dots across subject areas, writing materials and assessing the ultimate impact on clients.
• S/he will be expected to seek out and create opportunities for efficiency in client communications by assessing and improving current systems and processes.
• S/he is also responsible for advising on and in some cases managing the logistics of execution and distribution.
• S/he will coordinate with Home Office leadership, business heads, Operations, Corporate Communications and other stakeholders to support key communications initiatives.
• S/he will also develop a solid understanding of Internal Communications skills and processes in order to provide additional support and bandwidth within the Communications team.

Requirements:
• Role comprises strategic thinking and counsel, stakeholder management, process management, writing and editing, sourcing approvals (Legal, Compliance, product stakeholders) and ensuring seamless execution.
• Individual must be able to influence key decision makers and leaders in the business, prioritizing issues, obtaining buy-in and building consensus among senior stakeholders.
• Superior writing and editing skills.
• Demonstrated success at delivering outstanding communications strategies and materials.
• Ability to be diplomatically assertive with business leaders.
• Knowledge of Financial Advisors and the wealth management business.
• 5-8 years of experience in Financial Services communications.
