A large energy client of Aquent's is looking for a Senior Communications Consultant to join their team!

Qualifications:
5+ years of experience with business communications
• Preferred experience with technical and/or engineering content writing
• Preferred experience with employee communications and organizational change management communications
• Experience working with project and change leadership to develop supporting and integrated communications plan
• Demonstrated track record in executing broad but focused communications plans • Measurable success driving adoption and project objectives through communication
• Strong interest in self-generating content for multiple channels (video, print, digital)
• Self-starter who is detail-oriented with organizational and project management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and handle several projects at a time, and work independently or part of a team
• Impeccable engagement, follow-through and adaptability with internal clients • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for editorial content development and employee communications, including organizational change management communications and some event coordination. The position will be a contract position with the potential for full time employment. The individual should have an entrepreneurial but collaborative mindset, including a collaborative approach to achieving the goals of a heavily matrixed team among project teams and . The successful candidate will exhibit professionalism under the pressure associated with a fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Creation of editorial content for numerous employee channels
• Partner with project manager and change leaders to enable their desired outcomes through communications
• Support the execution of both HR and Finance project communications strategies and ensure alignment with all team engagement strategy
• Help ensure the consistent use of company voice and brand
• Develop and suggest storylines to increase the awareness of key internal/external milestones, messaging for leadership communications, effective adoption of change
• Help refresh highly technical language for a broad audience to increase employee engagement
• Contribute to the team’s editorial calendar, maintain production timelines and provide regular updates to team
