Are you a freelance communications specialist looking for a challenging and interesting project to carry you into the New Year?
If so, we have a great opportunity for you…
Aquent Studios provides custom-tailored consulting and outsourcing solutions in the realm of marketing communications, content development and creative media. We are beginning a new communications project for a large government agency. Our client is launching a workplace transformation initiative and we are looking for a local communications consultant to lead the development of the strategic communications plan.
In the next three years our client will move to a new centralized campus that will be the first major office space transformation the agency has undergone in over a decade. The client has commenced a Pilot Project to test and evaluate the mobility concepts that will be put into practice at the new HQ facility with the goal of helping their associates facilitate this change in their work life. This workplace transformation requires robust strategic communication services, including visible executive sponsorship, and frequent stakeholder communications to successfully transition the workforce to accept new and more mobile ways of working.
Scope of Work
This scope of work requires a communications consultant who can analyze the need and communicate the changes taking place. The end result is that the barriers to change are diminished. The strategic communication consultant will develop a comprehensive plan to describe the strategies and steps necessary to help the client’s employees’ transition into their new work environment.
In collaboration with key stakeholders, the change management contractor, and other program contributors, the communication consultant will develop a Project Communications Strategy and Plan that will educate, encourage, and promote the use of the Mobile Space, supporting a smooth transition with minimal disruptions to the employee’s day-to-day work style and performance. This will include a documented project plan with defined deliverables and timelines for those deliverables.
Timing & Location
The Project will commence the week of December 15th and will require a full time commitment through January (assuming partial weeks for the Christmas and New Year holidays). The first draft of the communication plan is due January 5th and the final draft is scheduled for delivery the end of January. The communications consultant will schedule and attend frequent meetings on site at the client offices in Arlington through the duration of the project.
