My client is one of the major Strategy Consultancies, and they are looking for an experienced Internal Communications Specialist to join their team.
Job Summary:
Developing, executing, and optimising internal communications and employee engagement strategies and campaigns. This individual will support the execution and coordination of communications programs directed to employees and partner with the Recruitment Marketing team to drive programs to external recruitment audiences. Assist in development of programs and support content and message development, production, promotion and measurement across a variety of online and social media channels. The individual will have a particular focus on our people engagement programs across all regions and functions. The individual will report to the Security Internal Comms lead to bring to life our key security messages for employees and recruits.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the internal communications for the Security business.
• Ensure our positioning and messaging is integrated across all communications.
• Manage the development of comprehensive communication and employee engagement programs in support of the company’s objectives and in close collaboration with HR colleagues.
• Support activities associated with content development, production, promotion and measurement.
• Manage the tools and processes related to the communication programs.
• Distribute company publications and communications using our tools and approved processes.
• Monitor and respond to queries, feedback and requests related to the communication programs.
• Comply with communication policies, guidelines and procedures.
• Ensure brand positioning and relevant messages are reinforced in all communications.
• Manage multiple projects across a range of geographies, industry and business groups.
• Work in close collaboration with cross-functional colleagues to ensure consistent, integrated deliverables.
• Coordinate newsletter and stream circle content in support of people engagement program.
• Drafting and editing of key leadership communications.
• Help build key assets and drive visibility to the annual people engagement program.
• Support global and regional town hall logistics and reporting.

Basic Qualifications:
• University Degree
• Mid-to-Senior Level experience in a communication and/or journalism, marketing or related equivalent combination of education, training and experience

Preferred Qualifications:
• Develop/write content for presentations and other visual materials
• Knowledge management process experience and tools development experience Advanced SharePoint skills – experience with SharePoint site designs, document and list management, webpart creation, optimizing SharePoint functionality
• Intermediate to Advanced MS Office Skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Ability to design and track analytics/metrics
• Strong ability to synthesize content/concepts into concise, well-structured presentations and other written communications
• Creative / innovative approach to work with sensitivity to cultural variances across different countries
• Ensure successful program completion in terms of quality, effectiveness, time and budget. Programs can include internal communications, events & sponsorships, collateral / credentials development, writing, web content management, database management, digital marketing, merchandise/brand and award/company recognition
• Support internal communications programs to maximize employee experience
• Serve as marketing counsel and advisor for internal groups
• Measure results from programs, and provide information on relevant metrics to program owners as appropriate
• Digital channel proficiency
• Manage and forecast marketing budget for assignments and ensure that leadership is kept appraised of progress against budgets and time-lines. Escalate appropriately any potential budget and time over-runs
• Ensure strict adherence to all communications policies and protocols

• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to have quick turnaround in assigned tasks as needed
• Ability to work in a virtual environment and manage team work effort; productive, accessible, self-directed, and collaborative
• Ability to work well with teams and under tight deadlines
• Ability to manage programs with minimal supervision
• Minimal travel required
