Communications & Events Project Coordinator - global tech brand

A large global technology brand is looking for an enthusiastic, organised and detail-oriented Communications & Events Project Coordinator to organise a series of external meetings across Europe.

In this exciting role, you’ll be responsible for booking travel for external participants and senior executives, but the real meat of your role will be identifying and securing top-quality venues, hiring and managing teams of video production, translation and transcription experts, and ensuring each of these meetings runs smoothly.

You're a self-starter who can recognise where processes can be improved and who will take the initiative to improve them. Using your strong communication skills, you'll effectively collaborate with a variety of people and job functions, accomplishing tasks of moderate to high complexity and scope. You're also able to analyse and anticipate the needs of your managers, team members and their projects, which means you'll acquire a thorough knowledge of the client’s policy issues.

You'll be interacting with high-level executives both inside and outside of the company, which means you have the ability to perform flawlessly and professionally in a fast-paced environment – along with the grace and willingness to change direction when circumstances demand. You'll be expected to demonstrate strong business judgment, professional etiquette and organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Minimum qualifications
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
Min 4 years direct project coordination experience.
Even coordination is a bonus.

Preferred qualifications

Experience serving as a project lead from conception to completion.
Ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies. Interest and experience in using technology and the Internet to improve work efficiency.
Comprehensive knowledge of process, project and program management theory and practices - and the ability to apply them when solving operational issues.
Expectation of complete confidentiality on all business matters.
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a diverse range of people and job functions.

Some travel will be required within Europe required to source venues.
